Water and Fire Wildlife – Wombats to Shags

Water and Fire Wildlife – Wombats to Shags

Some of the land wildlife that feature in Water and Fire deserve a feature, too.

From the shag on a rock in the right position (on my lunch break, a short walk from my office, too!) to the presumed extinct thylacine, there's plenty of wildlife in the book:

A shag on a rock
A shag on a rock
Shags on a rock
Shags on a rock
Not Aidan from Water and Fire
“Did someone say wombat?”
A real Thylacine
A real Thylacine

It's a real thylacine, though he is long dead and has since been stuffed.

About the Author

USA Today bestselling author Demelza Carlton has always loved the ocean, but on her first snorkelling trip she found she was afraid of fish.
She has since swum with sea lions, sharks and sea cucumbers and stood on spray-drenched cliffs over a seething sea as a seven-metre cyclonic swell surged in, shattering a shipwreck below.
Sensationalist spin? No - Demelza tends to take a camera with her so she can capture and share the moment later; shipwrecks, sharks and all.
Demelza now lives in Perth, Western Australia, the shark attack capital of the world.
